Saving time with AP Automation
Peab has four different business areas: construction, civil engineering, industry and project development. The business area project development handles Group acquisitions as well as development, management and divestment of residential and commercial property.
Peab Project Development had an invoice management system but several processes were still handled manually. Functionality was lacking when the contract for the system was expiring, Peab started to consider replacing its existing system for incoming supplier invoices. The choice fell quickly on Palette thanks to better functionality and proven integration with the existing Vitec financial system.
Among other things, Peab lacked functionality for accrual and amount limit, which was standard in Palette’s solution. For many years Palette and Vitec have worked closely together to deliver financial and invoice management solutions to the construction and real estate industry, something that Peab saw as a big plus. Özlem Sener, System Owner at Peab Project Development said:
“Thanks to the functionality in Palette we have eliminated all the manual touch points and the AP process is now completely automated.”
PEAB is managing 15000 more supplier invoices with the same number of employees using Palette. They save a lot of time, that can be spent on other tasks.
PEAB uses the csm service
Peab uses Palettes CSM-service (Customer Service Manager), which means they have a dedicated contact person at Palette. This service is customized according the specific needs of each customer. Some customers need help optimizing the solution whereas others need an extra hand to help out with configuration during busy periods.
